The design of the extended clinic’s surroundings has been developed in a way that is consistent with the buildings. In addition to the central park, it has distinctive garden, roof garden and courtyard elements.
The clinic’s garden, courtyard and park spaces serve as places of relaxation and recreation for the patients, visitors and employees. The view from the patients’ rooms should be as appealing as the firsthand use of the garden spaces.
They represent the desired complementary elements to the world within the hospital and establish a connection to the outside world – and also to nature.
