Since the beginning of industrialisation, cities and landscapes have continuously been woven into new functional contexts. Contrary to general expectations, specific urban configurations are formed depending on the existing conditions. To address future challenges, a possible approach continues to reside in the specificity of the place. This is where we locate both the reference and the goal for further constructing the "city."
