The landscaping design of the clinic extension surroundings was developed to enhance the experience of the new buildings and to connect the world within the hospital to the world without, through nature. A structured garden, new courtyard elements and a roof garden are additions to the central park, offering places of relaxation or recreation for patients, visitors and employees. Views from the patients’ rooms were planned to be just as pleasing as an actual walk through the gardens.
