24 Hours of "Life"

On the occasion exhibition of Life by Danish-Icelandic artist Olafur Eliasson, the Fondation Beyeler invites you to join them for “Midsommar” and experience the magic of the summer solstice – around the clock. These festivities are popular especially in Scandinavian countries and in the Baltic region, where it gets barely dark at this time of year. In reference to this tradition, we invite our visitors to activate all senses with our exhibitions and programme.
 

25 - 26 June 2021 / 9 AM - 9 AM

Activities include morning meditations, floral wreath workshops, numerous talks, vegetarian cuisine by our restaurant and Victoria Eliasdottir, a sound installation echoing Life as well as evening "silent music sets".

Don't miss the "Walkshop" togther with Günther Vogt and Markus Ritter at 3 PM. First come, first serve.
