Opening of the Village Square Balzers, Liechtenstein

On 30th August, the new village square n Balzers, Liechtenstein, will open. After four years of planning and construction, the new square has been completed and is open to the public.

Rows of lime and honey locust trees, pine groves, along with finely designed pavilions at the ends of the square, frame the open space in the centre. Long benches under the trees and the northern arbour flank the square, offering views of the square's centre, the village core, and the surrounding mountains. The centre of the square is designed with a refined concrete surface with pebble inlays, integrating the existing village fountain. The newly designed village square offers a versatile space for the residents of Balzers.

From August 30th to September 1st, the opening of the new village square will be celebrated with festivities.
