talkshop museum 2022
10 - 19 May 2022
What will the museum of the future be like?
The Bauhaus Archive is getting a new museum. In the Talkshop Museum, questions are discussed that it is dealing with on the way there - with guests and audience, live in the temporary bauhaus-archiv and listening on the internet. This year's edition is about the outside space of the museum and the topics of the archive, artistic research and restoration. What role does the socio-cultural outdoor space play for cultural institutions? How do artists work with collections and archives? How do archives become alive, open and accessible? What does restoration in museums have to achieve? Guests from museum practice, art, design and landscape architecture will discuss four topics and dates. For each of the talks, a podcast will be available for listening to on the Soundcloud channel of the Bauhaus Archive.
10 May, 6:30 - 8 PM
