Treescape Summer School - Lecture Series with Günther Vogt

All over the world, urbanized regios are looking for strategies to create more urban green space. The Treescape Summer School Under the trees, into the woods of the Department of Architecture at ZU Leuven explores and tests approaches and concepts for novel tree and forest configurations in urban areas from 19 to 27 August 2021 and focuses on the interfaces between trees/woods and other types of land use.

A range of public lectures of both international and local experts will "feed" the design process. In tonight's lecture, Günther Vogt will talk about "landscape design, trees and forests".
