In 1966, C. Th. Sørensen published his highly regarded foundational work, which was translated into German in 1979. It has long been out of print and has never been updated. After almost 50 years, the German edition is now being reissued, contextualised and expanded for contemporary urban landscape discussions, along with design-strategy annotations by Günther Vogt.
