The new KaDeWe on Vienna's Mariahilferstrasse creates public space.
At city level, a green passage in the form of a gallery garden extends the pedestrian network of the old town. With diverse design elements and rich vegetation, the differently designed public roof gardens of the complex offer new space for encounters and recreation in the historic centre of the city.
