Roundtable Discussion with Thomas Kissling in wbw 1/2-2025, the Burckhardt issue

The Burckhardts, wbw 1/2-2025. The current werk, bauen + wohnen issue on Burckhardt's approach includes an interdisciplinary roundtable discussion. Maria Conen, Philippe Koch and Thomas Kissling moderated by Roland Züger examine the relevance of Annemarie and Lucius Burckhardt’s ideas and question – their conviction that every building is a continuation, their interest in ecology and their approach to understanding the environment through observation and intuition remain relevant for today's architectural education and planning practice. The launch event for the magazine takes place as part of the exhibition "Seeing with Sight. 100 Years of Lucius and Annemarie Burckhardt" on 5 February at 6 pm in the main library of the University of Basel, lecture hall (1st floor).
